Polyurethane Sealants

BOSTIK® LIQUID RIVET 1152 Fast Set - is a one-component, moisture curing, polyurethane adhesive that has extremely high thixotrophy and strength. Although Liquid Rivet 1152 FS has excellent green strength, its thixotropic nature also allows for easy overhead and vertical application. The use of 1152 FS increases the torsional stiffness of final assemblies and replaces most of it not all mechanical fasteners (rivets, screws, etc.) when applied to proper engineering guidelines. Liquid Rivets 1152 FS is both sandable and paintable. Improves vibration attenuation and sound dampening when used without mechanical fasteners.

BOSTIK® 1100 FAST SET - is a a one-part urethane sealant that cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture to form a tough, flexible seal. It has tenacious adhesion to woods, metals, FRP and most plastics.

• Sealing and bonding truck trailer, horse trailer, RV's, emergency vehicles, buses, railcars and container construction

BOSTIK LoVOC SEAL^TM - is a one-component , moisture curing, urethane sealant specifically designed to meet the demands of the transportation industry. Primarily targeted for joint and gap filling and for seam and weld line applications where low shrinkage and excellent seal ability is required at economical prices.

LoVOC Seal^TM possesses outstanding adhesion to aluminum, wood and FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester). It can be sanded and/or painted after tack free time has been achieved.

Environmentally "friendly" conforms to SCAQMD (California) air quality VOC emissions standards and has extremely low HAPs <6 g/l (hazardous air pollutants). LoVOC Seal contains NO xylene, toluene or MEK and has virtually NO odor.

Hot Melt – Bulk Form

Bostik’s hot melt comes in a wide variety as follows:

EVA-BASED

HM 4315 - Versatile, high viscosity, fast setting polyethylene EVA-blend hotmelt used for both packaging and product assembly

HM 6355 - Semi-clear, Eva-based, low viscosity hotmelt product designed for lower temperature bonding of a number of flexible or rigid foam materials for specialty packaging applications.

HM 8330 - High performance, EVA-PE blend bonds a wide variety of porous and non-porous surfaces including many plastics and metals. Very flexible, semi-translucent with long open-time.

HM 8363 - High performance, EVA-PE hotmelt blend bonds a wide variety of porous and non-porous surfaces.

HM 8386 - Lower viscosity packaging hotmelt for difficult substates including many polyethylene, EVA / wax or some foil coated stocks.

MYD6003CX - High performance, low viscosity APP type hotmelt with open-times ranging from 10 to 30 seconds at 320°F to 100-plus seconds at 400°F. Can bond a variety of difficult substrates.
