This clean look is achieved by bonding the nose panels, eliminating several hundred holes that would have been drilled in the surface. No more layout of hole locations and more strength is achieved in the trailer nose using bonding than point-to-point fastening with rivets allowing for a much stiffer overall goose neck section because the stresses are spread over a larger engagement area.
