"We had been using two-sided tape to bond side skins and door skins on our trailers, primarily because the tape required no clamping. When we first learned about DTI's adhesive solutions, we sent samples of the DTI product and samples of the tape we were using to a third-party testing facility.

"The results were phenomenal: the DTI adhesive demonstrated strengths 10 times superior to the tapes. So we actually redeveloped our production process around DTI adhesive. DTI worked with us in the design of the fixturing, especially in ensuring the proper curing of the glued skins.

"And DTI has continued to support our manufacturing efforts. For example, after we had introduced DTI metal bonding at a satellite facility in Tennessee, some problems arose from insufficient employee training in the use of the DTI process. Kris [DTI president Kris Coleman] jumped on his plane and conducted the necessary training immediately. And I'm not sure, but the Tennessee plant may have been out of Kris' sales territory. He took care of us anyway."
